The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named more than 800 students to the President's List for the Spring 2012 semester in recognition of their academic excellence. The following local residents made the Dean's List for Fall 2012 quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology:

St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, welcomes the following students as members of the class of 2016. Each first-year student will participate in St. Lawrence University's innovative First-Year Program, an introduction to the liberal arts curriculum taught in residence halls by faculty teams. Clear writing and speaking skills are stressed, and careful advising is provided for all students.

Players named to the Commissioner's List have a minimum 3.3 GPA based on three semesters at Potsdam.

The following local residents were among 62 SUNY Potsdam student-athletes to earn a spot on the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Academic team for the fall semester, the conference announced Wednesday, June 20. Players named to the All-Academic team have a minimum 3.3 GPA for the semester.
